How To Bake a Red Velvet Cake

A guide to baking a red velvet cake and the ingredients needed.

RECIPE AND GUIDE TO MAKING RED VELVET CAKE

Red velvet cake

RECIPE

Flour 400g

Sugar 350 g

Cocoa powder 1.5 teaspoon

Red food colour 1tsp

Salt                      1tsp

Yoghurt 250ml

Vegetable oil 250ml

Eggs –  3

 

GUIDE

 

A cup of vanilla or pineapple flavour

Mix the oil and egg and stir with the Yoghurt and flavour. Pour the dry ingredients that have been mixed   while stirring. Mix for 25 or 30 mins. Preheat the oven, oil the pan and bake for 45mins till cake is done

Note: All ingredients will be at room temperature.  Sieve the flour before mixing. Preheat the oven and oil the pan thoroughly before pouring the mixture
